Interesting move

Well, I have to hand it to Rod Blagojevich--he's a brave one. He may have really started a firestorm with his appointment of Roland Burris. Burris has a strong history in Illinois politics, but I don't know that he'll be appointed. This case gets more and more interesting every day.

Not a whole lot going on here. Dad and Beth are coming in tomorrow and we'll have a quiet couple of days with family.

Another crappy football week

Well, I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in my Rams' 2 and 14 finish this season. I hoped they would do a little better. Hopefully, they'll make some changes in the off season that are for the better.

Not a lot happening here. It actually got up to about 40 today so I took Clyde for a walk. The weather this week is actually supposed to be decent (at least compared to last week). Dad and Beth are coming later in the week so we'll be celebrating a late Christmas with them.

Crazy weather

Well, I guess it was too much to ask for the weather to stay nice. Today it's cold and windy again. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be a little warmer so I can take Clyde for a walk. Otherwise, it'll be indoors doing yoga again.

Not much going on here. Dad and Beth are coming in Wednesday or Thursday for a late Christmas celebration, then we're going to find a time to get to Morrison to see Scott's family. I'm already thinking about spring or summer vacation possibilities. I'd love to go out to the western part of the state, and head up to Mount Rushmore.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Bellevue!!! We have a white Christmas here!

Not a whole lot happening. We're mostly just sitting around, taking it easy and watching some TV...I know, real exciting stuff, but that's what holidays are for. We're both enjoying our new presents and Clyde likes his stuffed bear, so shopping was successful this year.

I can't believe next Thursday is January first. This year has gone by so fast. Time to start thinking about resolutions for 2009...I'll probably have some of the same, and others that'll be new.

ok, so i can't post video to the wordpress blog without upgrading (read: paying for) the blog. so i'm back to good ol' blogger, and this should work ok.

so here's the first test...a video i shot today on my blackberry.




so hopefully this will work and i'll be able to post videos. the blackberry videos are in a weird format...and i had to convert it...and so hopefully now it works. sheesh.

not much else happening otherwise. it's cold here, but not snowing. dad is coming tomorrow to visit for christmas and i have to work one more day this week.
